Palm Springs Door Tour: The Best Colorful Houses to Visit
Heading to Palm Springs for Coachella? Whether you're staying in Palm Springs or just driving through on your way to the fest, you'll want to make a pit stop to grab that infamous Palm Springs Instagram shot. Here are our favorite colorful walls, hotels, and houses to visit in South Palm Springs! That Colorful Hotel in Palm Springs
On this trip to Palm Springs we stayed at The Saguaro, which is one of the most rainbow poppin, colorful places you could ever stay! We love the bright neon vibes everywhere, but even if you're not staying there it's worth it to visit for a photo op and their yummy margaritas and tacos at El Jefe.
If you've seen that infamous Palm Springs sign by the pool, the good news is that we found it! The bad news is that it's a private residence that can be rented out, which will make it a bit difficult for you to snag that photo op if you're just passing through. We got to visit as part of the Mod Squad for Modernism Week, which is honestly the best time of year to go! There are SO many events happening every day around the city, and you'll get to visit a lot of places (like this house) that are otherwise closed to the public.
The Best of the Palm Springs Door Tour
And now, for the best of the Palm Springs Door Tour! Last year we rented bikes from Bike PS and went on our own little door tour, so we were so excited to see this as a full fledged event hosted by Palm Springs Style during Modernism Week! If you're staying at The Saguaro, they have a ton of new, colorful bikes that you can easily borrow for a quick ride to the houses too. It's the perfect afternoon in Palm Springs, ending at The Ace Hotel pool for cocktails, obviously.

How perfect is that yellow door?! You can find all of these houses in South Palm Springs - look for the pink house at E Sierra Way and then bike around for the other colorful doors! We loved the "party animal" house with the watermelons, and the teal door with the mini BMW! Yes, that's a real car..
