A Cozy Cottage in the Woods in Washington

Have you ever wanted to shack up with 20 of your friends at a cabin in the woods for a weekend? We did just that and had the best friends trip for our bestie Lindsay's birthday! We rented this awesome cottage near Issaquah, Washington, explored the super cool backyard, headed to Rattlesnake Ledge, and had a disco light dance party with all our closest buds. It was amazing.

The cottage we stayed at was super quirky and cozy, and we instantly felt at home.  The house backs on to a rushing river stream and has it's own mini-suspension bridge, and the hot tub gives you a perfect view to it all.

Friends came and went throughout the weekend as we made group dinners, drank wine, soaked in the hot tub, and wandered this incredible backyard! This would be an amazing place to visit in the summer too - river dips, anyone?

Rattlesnake Ledge was one of the very first stops on our first road trip (over 3 years ago!!), so when we found out we weren't that far away, we knew we had to visit. It was too icy to hike, but we all played in the snow for a bit and had fun throwing rocks into the frozen lake like we were kids again.

It's not a birthday trip without a party though, right? We dusted off our fog machine, plugged in the disco lights, brought out the glowsticks, and had a legendary dance party to celebrate Lindsay! HAPPY BIRTHDAY LINDSAY 💖
