Roadtripping to Whistler!
We're back in Vancouver, fall is in full effect, and we're off to enjoy a winter wonderland in Whistler for Whistler Film Festival! It may be snowing in the village, but the drive up on the Sea-to-Sky highway is still reminiscent of autumn, with the leaves turning and the fog rolling in. Everytime we're in Squamish we seem to discover something new, and this time it was the ah-mazing rice bowls at Zephyr Cafe and these adorable cabins at Sunwolf.
Nestled beside the cozy cabins is Fergie's Cafe, a local and adorable spot to grab breakfast and lunch (open 8am-3pm). The food is locally sourced, and we can imagine this patio would be picture-perfect in the summertime!
The surrounding area is just beautiful, and it's set for adventure too: you can go white water rafting or venture out to spot some bald eagles on an eagle float tour. Brackendale, BC is home to one of the largest populations of bald eagles in the world!
As outdoor enthusiasts, we love to escape the city and get outside on the weekends, and we're currently loving the Toyota RAV-4 from this local Vancouver Toyota dealership. Which really saved us on the highway because it started to snow...and we can't wait to share our winter adventures up at Whistler Film Festival! It's about to get snowy up in here.
