What to Do in Malibu: 3 Gorgeous Spots You Have to Visit
Wondering what to do in Malibu, California? Lucky you! Taking a day trip out to Malibu from LA is one of the prettiest drives, and it's so nice to be able to escape the city for some chill surf vibes. Your biggest problem here will just be deciding which of the best beaches in Malibu to hit up! Here are three of our favorite spots to unwind in Malibu:
What to Do in Malibu:
1. Visit Malibu Beach Pier
If you're visiting Malibu, you have to visit the quaint and adorable Malibu Beach Pier. Take a little walk out into the ocean, and at the end of the pier you will find Malibu Farm Pier Cafe, which is perfect to grab a coffee or grab a delicious, casual, and local lunch. Take your food upstairs to the rooftop patio, and you're all set with an ocean view like none other. You can also go for a beach stroll under the pier before you head off to your next adventure!
2. Eat at Malibu Farm, the Best Restaurant in Malibu
The Malibu Farm Cafe at the end of the pier is great for a quick bite, but the sister Malibu Farm restaurant at the beginning of the pier really steals the show. The decor is stunning, the view is insanely beautiful, and the food is fresh, organic, and the perfect kind of healthy. Cauliflower pizza with a glass of oceanside rose? Yes, please.
3. Suntan with a Cocktail on a Private Beach at Paradise Cove
We know it can be hard to choose between the best beaches in Malibu, and it all depends on what you're looking for! If you're wanting to lie out and get your suntan on while ordering a margarita on the beach, then Paradise Cove is definitely for you. The private beach is hidden away so it's quieter than the bigger beaches, and they have also have a restaurant so you can stay there all day if you need to!
Pro tip: parking is $30, or free if you spend $30 at the restaurant/bar, so keep that in mind if you plan to visit.
Other Things to Do in Malibu:
This is just the start of where to go and what to do in Malibu! We can't wait to go back and explore more of the beaches (and eat at Malibu Farm again). If you really want to treat yourself, check out Nobu Malibu for celeb-spotting over sushi. Two of our other favorite beaches in Malibu are Zuma Beach, or El Matador State Beach to see the Instagram-worthy sea arch.
