Your Guide to San Diego
Oh, San Diego. We have a special place in our hearts for the city of chill vibes, tacos, and always amazing weather. Plus, it's so close to Mexico! We put together a lil guide of some of our favourite spots in the two neighbourhoods we hang out in the most: North Park & Little Italy (plus a few extras!). Here's a little sampling of the local gems and beautiful spaces in our San Diego city guide.
Over in the neighbourhood of North Park, you'll find a ton of amazing things happening. We're all about our coffee, and our beer, so the Modern Times Flavordome was a beautiful marriage of two of our favourite things. Coffee-infused beers? Yes, please! Plus, there's a mural of Yoda that's made out of floppy disks.
Pigment is a beautiful shop full of accessories, unique gifts, and everything you need to make your own terrarium. We could wander in this store for hours, there's so much to look at. See the rest of our North Park recommendations here!
When it comes to tacos, we are kind of obsessed. San Diego has some of the best tacos we have ever had, and Tacos Perla is at the top of our list. The mahi-mahi taco is sooo good, and the ceviche, and the micheladas...you get the picture! Plus, best happy hour around. Nearby you'll find Dark Horse Coffee Roasters, a local coffee company with a few locations around town, but we love the North Park one the best!
Down in Little Italy, you'll find a ton of hip and unique places near the water, like Ironside Fish & Oyster. It's an oyster-lovers paradise set in a 1930s steamship, with an extensive cocktail list and $1 oysters at happy hour. Check out the rest of our Little Italy favourites here!
Thanks for reading! We're pumped this is our 3rd city guide, and we can't wait to go back to give you more 'hoods. Tell us what we missed in the comments!
