The Perfect Sunset at Trillium Lake, Oregon

We made it to Mt. Hood! And oh boy, is it huge. There's tons of different areas on the mountain, from skiing to breweries, but we found the best place to view the mountain: Trillium Lake. 

We set up a little picnic with our friends (and some duckies) and settled in for what turned out being an incredible sunset.

The lake is clean (and clearly so gorgeous!), so you can totally go swimming in it. Or kayaking, row boating, fishing...and you can even camp nearby too. 

The Trillium Lake Loop Trail runs around the lake, and it's great for an easy hike or trail run.

And then, it was time for sunset. Oregon is so amazing, we love how you can go from the mountains to the ocean and city in between, all in one weekend!
