Chillin' at The Hall in San Francisco
Cafeterias never looked so cool at The Hall, located in San Francisco's SoMa district (right down the street from the Twitter and Uber offices). This isn't your high school cafeteria though - the bright and beautiful interior is home to a bunch of different local food and artisan vendors which makes for a hip and chill eating spot.
At Kit Fox, you'll find 100% plant-based (read: vegan) sandwiches, and we tried the Reuben on Rye which was SO good. Yes, a vegan reuben. You can creat your own salads at Graze, or if you're more into the meat thing, have your pick of local meats at The Whole Beast butcher shop. If healthy Mexican is more your style, then you'll love the food at El Pipila!
We found the coolest cement planters at Salvage Garden (not to be confused with the 90s band Savage Garden), and everything was not only local but super affordable! We couldn't go home without some. There's also a bar with local wine and beer, and with so many tables, The Hall is an easy place to hang out with friends over drinks!
While you're there, head next door to Machine Coffee, a small coffee shop that serves ahhh-mazing chai. But Four Barrel is brewing too!
