6 Romantic Getaways for a Summer of Love
Looking for an easy romantic getaway with your boo? There's no better way to fall in love or rekindle that spark than by going on some romantic weekend getaways together! We teamed up with OkCupid to share some of our favorite places to visit with your honey this summer, and the best part is they are all easy, low-stress weekend getaways that you can turn into a longer trip if you want to. Nothing like summertime romantic getaways, right?
Romantic Getaways #1: Soak Up the Sun in San Diego, California
Ready to soak in summer along the beach? Take a romantic weekend getaway to San Diego! Get ready to enjoy the delicious food scene in Little Italy (Ironside Oyster is our fave), indulge in a ton of fish tacos (happy hour at Tacos Perla is fantastic), and sip on beer from the city's over 100 craft breweries! Snuggle up on the beach under an umbrella with your boo at Coronado Beach, and if you want to treat yourself, rent a day bed for the day and keep the drinks coming.
Where to Stay: The Pearl Hotel, One Bunk Hotel, or this cute Airbnb (get $40 free credit here)
How to Get There: lots of direct flights to SAN, or road trip from San Francisco or Los Angeles

It doesn’t get more romantic than enjoying nature in your own Airstream! 🌲 Woods on Pender is located on gorgeous Pender Island in British Columbia, Canada, and it's an easy escape along the west coast. Whether you want to lay in your hammock all day, Netflix and chill in your airstream, or explore the hikes and lakes of the island, it doesn't get any better than a romantic getaway here. The best part? Your own hot tub in the woods!

Romantic Weekend Getaways #3: Party it up in Downtown Las Vegas, Nevada
Vegas, anyone? This easy-to-get to destination can be super affordable, and we love the local vibe off the strip in Downtown Las Vegas. Fremont East is the "local" Vegas, full of hip taco shops, cocktail bars, gourmet coffee, and so much cool street art. Whether you want to enjoy a show or party it up with your babe, Vegas is bound to add a little excitement to your relationship.
Where to Stay: We love the Downtown Grand Las Vegas because of the prime location downtown, the rooftop pool, and the super cheap price tag (starting at $60/night!)
How to Get There: lots of cheap flights on charter airlines, or road trip from LA
Romantic Weekend Getaways #4: Enjoy the Small Town Charm of Prince Edward County, Ontario
If you'd rather a more quiet and relaxing romantic getaway, explore the delicious wine country that lies between Toronto, Montreal, and New York: Prince Edward County! This is a super romantic weekend getaway from the big city, full of hip wineries (get our top 5 here), small town charm, white sandy beaches, and a lot of time for rest and relaxation. We loved our stay at The Ferg, and you'll definitely get your quality time in, because not much is open after 10pm!
Where to Stay: The Ferg, June Motel, or The Drake Devonshire
How to Get There: road trip! About a 3hr drive from Toronto or Ottawa
Romantic Getaways #5: Road Trip Along the Oregon Coast
A summer romantic getaway doesn’t get better than the sandy beaches along the Oregon Coast! Take a road trip to the PNW and soak in all the beauty and sand dunes that you can find at Cape Kiwanda, a prettier and less busy version of Cannon Beach.
