A Palm Springs Oasis at The Junipero
There's no shortage of beautiful places to stay in Palm Springs, but our favorite is The Junipero. This Airbnb complex is made up of 3 suites and a main house, and situated on gorgeous grounds. It's within walking (and biking) distance of the Uptown Design District, and we loved the peace and quiet that you don't get staying in a larger hotel. And how amazing is this pool!?
Our friend Jaime Kowal is an amazing Palm Springs local, and she's created not only The Junipero, but also Ernest Coffee, Bootlegger Tiki, and another boutique Airbnb, The Amado (look for the bright orange door on this month's cover of Sunset Magazine!). She's done a great job of adding personal touches to the suites to make it feel as comfortable as home.
We stayed in bungalow #3, and probably our favorite part of the whole trip was just waking up to the gorgeous sunshine in these bright and calming suites. Or sipping on some wine in the hot tub while staring at the stars...tough decision! ;)
When we weren't enjoying our pretty room, we were lounging about in the yard. There's so many places to relax, it's hard to choose where! You can take a dip in the pool, tan on the lounge chairs, get some work by the picnic tables, by the or take a little nap in the hammock.
Seriously, this place is just the best and it's a total Palm Springs oasis. If you're wondering where to stay in Palm Springs, we really couldn't recommend The Junipero enough! We wish we stayed longer, and we're already trying to come up with an occasion to book the whole place out for a weekend in Palm Springs with friends. So great for get togethers!
Each suite also comes with it's own kitchen, and while we love to go out for dinners on vacation, it was really nice to have a kitchen to make breakfasts in each morning. Freshly ground coffee? Now you're talking vacation mode.
